As you can find in detail by clicking or tapping Matt's name above, he comes to us after being the lead photographer at West Virginia MetroNews, a web-based news service, as well as other photojournalism experience at the Dominion Post in Morgantown and other outlets. He's got a reputation as a dedicated, tireless worker, and he's covered it all, from all kinds of sports at all kinds of levels, as well as hard news, feature work and, in all candor, some of the most passionate photo essays I've ever seen, thanks to his writing background.

We're honored to have Matt become a big part of what we do, and we look forward to both and enjoying and sharing what he does here for years to come.
We're also looking forward to having Matt assemble a photography staff under him, beginning with a second full-time hire in the near future. He'll get started for us in a couple of weeks, as he'll first honor a commitment to WV MetroNews.
