For more than a decade, the Steelers had an impeccable record against rookie quarterbacks while their defensive coordinator was Dick LeBeau. Those days seem all but lost in 2016 as the Steelers have faced two rookie quarterbacks Dak Prescott of the Cowboys and Carson Wentz of the Eagles and lost to both.
Now the Steelers face another rookie quarterback in the Browns' Cody Kessler. One difference is the Browns are 0-10 and the Steelers need to end a four-game losing streak.
While Kessler was pulled for Josh McCown during the Browns' most recent loss last Thursday to the Ravens, it is most likely that he will be the quarterback to start Sunday. In the midst of all the team's struggles, he has managed to maintain a 95.7 passer rating with six touchdown passes and only one interception.
