WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Jake Guentzel was added to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' roster late last season and the dynamic forward made a seamless transition from Nebraska-Omaha in a Calder Cup playoff run.

The coaching staff is trying to prepare Troy Josephs, another player pulled from the college ranks, to provide a similar offensive punch with the Penguins holding onto first place, but it is proving to be a challenge for the former seventh-round pick.
