WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — As far as first impressions go, it would be pretty hard to top Zach Aston-Reese’s debut with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Aston-Reese, who joined the Penguins on an amateur tryout contract on March 18, scored his first professional goal three days later with time running out in the first period and helped the Penguins beat the Hartford Wolf Pack, 5-2.
