WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Calder Cup Playoffs have not been kind to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Jean-Sebastien Dea. In 14 career postseason games, the 23-year-old has no points and a rating of minus-6.
But the way his current season has gone, Dea is perhaps in line for some better luck.
After battling through a nine-game point drought in December and January, Dea recovered in the second half to wind up with 18 goals, just two off his total from last season. More notably, he was rewarded with a call-up to Pittsburgh and appeared in his first career NHL game on April 9.
