CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Tristan Jarry is headed back down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The Penguins re-assigned the goaltender following Monday’s practice. Jarry had been with the Penguins on an emergency basis during Matt Murray’s recovery from a concussion. It’s another indication that Murray will start Tuesday night against the Islanders with Casey DeSmith as the backup.
Jarry will be with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for its three game road trip beginning Tuesday night in Toronto. He is 6-2 with a 2.60 goals-against average and a. 914 save percentage in the AHL this season.
