CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The Penguins were given a day off between Games 3 and 4. In the case of Patric Hornqvist, conspicuously absent from Tuesday's practice, it's going to be at least three days off.
Mike Sullivan ruled out Hornqvist for Wednesday night's game in Philadelphia with an upper body injury. It was not immediately clear how Hornqvist was injured, but presumably it occurred in the 5-1 win over the Flyers in Game 3. Sullivan declined to go into details other than to say that Hornqvist is "day to day."
