RICHMOND, Va. -- You could argue, I suppose, that the Steelers second age of Super Bowl success didn’t begin on September 26, 2004 with Ben Roethlisberger’s first start under center, but with some other event…but I’m not sure you’d be correct.
Since Big Ben took that first snap as a starter, the Steelers have been a different team, with quarterback a position of superiority rather than one of adequacy…and they have two titles in three attempts to prove it.
