RICHMOND, Va. -- OK, sure, as openers go, the Steelers' drubbing of the Texans in 2008 wasn’t the most memorable.
No huge, nationally televised prime-time matchup with Dallas or New England.
But it was the first chapter in that memorable Super Bowl season; for my money, the most satisfying overall since the 1970s. It was also the last great game of Willie Parker’s career, among the most sneakily impressive Steelers of all time.
