RICHMOND, Va. -- The Steelers take the field tonight in the state of Ohio, and whether it happens on the banks of Lake Erie or the Ohio River, hosting the black and gold usually proves an exercise in futility, and guarantees a disappointing, if not crushing, result for the home fans.
Such was the case in the entertaining, dramatic season of 1995, as young Kordell Stewart added another chapter to his thrilling debut NFL season with his first touchdown reception as a pro, and the latest iteration of the Steel Curtain, despite a few early hiccups, smothered and stifled the Bungles on their home turf to take a commanding AFC Central lead in comeback fashion:
