THE SETUP
Today is the main event for PiratesFest. Gates open at 9 a.m. for season-ticket holders and 11 a.m. for everyone else, and will stay open until 5 p.m..
For fans, there will be autographs of both current players and alumni, the "Oh Say, Can You Sing" competition, live interviews with players, games, prizes, the whole shebang. Those in attendance can tour different parts of PNC Park, too, like the home dugout and batting cages.
Meanwhile, Pirates players will be made available to the media throughout the day. DK, Jarrod Prugar and I will be there to cover those interviews.
