Need a laugh? Yeah, ya probably need a laugh. And the Watt brothers are dealing.
Speaking on a video conference with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, J.J. Watt, T.J. Watt and Derek Watt dove in for a little round of "Know Your Bro."
In the game, the three brothers alternated turns, with one of them putting on headphones while the other two were asked a question by Fallon. The two would answer the question, then the third would remove his headphones, listen to the question and attempt to answer it and match his brothers' pick.
How well do the Watt brothers know each other?
Watch for yourself in the full skit, right here:
Derek and T.J., of course, will bring that chemistry to the football field in 2020 and beyond with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers added the middle Watt brother during the 2020 free agency period, signing him to a three-year, $9.75 million deal.
Separated by two years, Derek, 27, and T.J., 25, have played together at both the high-school and college level as well. J.J., the oldest at 31, however, has always been left out, graduating just a little too soon to join his brothers on the field. That's caused a little jealousy among the trio:
“He’s [J.J. is] extremely happy for us, and very, like I said, he’s jealous of the fact we get to play together, but he’s super supportive,” Derek said during an introductory conference call with Pittsburgh media in late March. “We’re all supportive of each other … I definitely have seen Steeler Nation on Twitter, Instagram, all that stuff, as you say, courting J.J. and trying to bring the three of us, the trilogy, all together. That would be something special."
And while J.J. himself has fueled this fire a touch, for now, Steelers fans will have to settle for conference calls on national TV.
