The NHL on Thursday night released the hotel assignments for the 24 teams participating in the qualifying round.

Players will all have their own rooms, and each team will have its own floor in the hotel.

The Eastern Conference teams will be staying in two Toronto hotels -- Hotel X and Royal York.

The Penguins will be staying in Hotel X, along with the Flyers, Capitals, Bruins, and Lightning.

Hotel X is less than 10 minutes away from Scotiabank Arena, where the games will be taking place. It's not clear if players will have access to the hotel's amenities, which include eight squash courts, a spin studio, four indoor tennis courts, a pilates studio and a hot yoga studio, a Topgolf Swing Suite, a rooftop pool and a movie screening room.

Royal York, just five minutes away from Scotiabank Arena, will host the Hurricanes, Islanders, Maple Leafs, Blue Jackets, Panthers, Rangers, and Canadiens.

The Western Conference teams will be staying in two Edmonton hotels -- the JW Marriott and Sutton Place.

After the hotel assignments were released, Twitter was full of memes about the plan, especially about all of the rivals in Hotel X:
