Live Qs at 5: Molinari’s answers on the Penguins

Dave Molinari. - Dali Kovacevic

It's almost here.

Barring a major medical breakdown, the NHL season will resume in eight days with qualifying-round series in Toronto and Edmonton, including one pitting the Penguins against Montreal.

The Penguins will be heavily favored to win that best-of-five, but is there anything about the Canadiens that makes you believe they are a legitimate threat to pull off an upset? (Beyond an otherworldly performance by goalie Carey Price, of course.) And what do you make of the Penguins as their training camp in Cranberry enters its final days? See anything that makes you confident they can go on an extended run or, conversely, leads you to belief their visit to the postseason will be brief.

This is the place to discuss all of that, and anything else pertaining to hockey.

Post questions, comments and observations at your convenience, and I'll respond over the course of the day.

If you’re new: Enter one question (at a time) in the comments below. When it’s done, all that will be left are the questions, my replies and any follow-ups by the original questioner. Please don’t use this the way you would an ordinary commenting thread, and please scroll through the questions already submitted to make sure your question hasn't been asked.
