The Steelers finished off signing their rookie draft class on Friday, getting fourth-round pick Kevin Dotson and seventh-round pick Carlos Davis under contract.

All six of the rookies the Steelers selected in the draft this year were signed to four-year deals.

Earlier in the week, the Steelers had come to terms with second-round pick Chase Claypool, third-rounder Alex Highsmith, Anthony McFarland, the first of their two fourth-round picks, and Antoine Brooks, their sixth-round selection.

The Steelers have not yet set a hard date on when those rookies will report for training camp, but teams can have veteran players begin reporting July 28. Rookies have been able to report to team facilities since last Tuesday.

Dotson, an All-America guard last season at Louisiana, was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine last year. But he made 52 career starts for the Ragin' Cajuns.

Davis, a defensive tackle, played collegiately at Nebraska, where he was a four-year contributor on both the football and track teams.

Interestingly enough, both Dotson and Davis have twin brothers.

The Steelers currently have 16 rookies on their roster, but that number could be trimmed soon. The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to cut roster sizes from their current level of 90 players to 80 to start training camps next week.
