CRANBERRY, Pa. -- The nine players initially held out of the start of Penguins training camp due to possible secondary exposure to coronavirus have all been cleared to play.

The players held out were Patric Hornqvist, Anthony Angello, Adam Johnson, Samuel Poulin, Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Philip Varone, Sam Miletic, Juuso Riikola and Alex D’Orio.

Monday's training camp scrimmage is still scheduled to be two forward lines and two defense pairs per team playing 25-minute halves, so the full nine won't be participating.

The Penguins readjusted the remaining training camp schedule and added an additional scrimmage. The third training camp scrimmage has been moved to Thursday at 7 p.m., and an additional fourth scrimmage has been added for Saturday at noon, the final day of training camp in Cranberry.

The two remaining scrimmages on the schedule will include three forward lines and five defensemen for team, with teams playing three full 20-minute periods.
