The other day Mike Sullivan was lamenting the loss of Patric Hornqvist and the energy the Swede brings to the Penguins' lineup. Well, now Sullivan might have a broader problem.
Tom Kuhnhackl and Carter Rowney, two players who bring plenty of energy, left Tuesday night's 5-4 win over the Golden Knights with lower-body injuries and did not return. Sullivan said both players were being evaluated and had no further information. He said he would provide an update Thursday when the Penguins reconvene for practice.
