Trading cards aren't what they used to be. The days of sitting around with friends and pouring over a Beckett magazine seeing the value of the cards you just purchased are certainly in the past. Trading cards have been replaced with Madden and virtual tournaments.

But that doesn't mean trading cards aren't still a thing, and believe it or not the value of cards are actually starting to climb again! The folks at Panini America work with the NFLPA at their Rookie Premiere event, and although the event was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Chase Claypool and Anthony McFarland Jr. were invited to the event and fans get an early glimpse of them in their new uniforms.

Check out McFarland in the black and gold.

The full picture (below) of McFarland shows him wearing a double-zero jersey, but he will be wearing No. 26 during his rookie season.

As for Claypool, the Steelers' top draft pick, it is safe to say the former Notre Dame receiver looks pretty stellar in his No. 11 jersey. Hopefully he will help fans forget Donte Moncrief, Justin Hunter and Markus Wheaton.

The full image of Claypool can be see below:

Who knows when fans will get to see Claypool and McFarland on the field wearing No. 26 and 11, but the hope is the NFL will be able to find a way to have games played, while remaining safe, by the time fall rolls around and the itch for football returns. In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to DKPittsburghSports.com for the latest updates on the Steelers.
