CAREER: Jerry is a software engineer by trade. Decades ago, he was a game tester and then a game designer at a company called Infocom. Since moving back to Pittsburgh, he has designed and implemented software systems as an independent consultant. His entire journalism career has been at DKPittsburghSports.com, from submitting typos to copy-editing to writing.

PERSONAL: Jerry is a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Aside from a decade within walking distance of Fenway Park, he has lived his entire life in the city of Pittsburgh, going back to watching the Pirates at Forbes Field and the Hornets at the Civic Arena.
