The countdown begins for the 2018-19 season.
The Penguins announced their six-game preseason schedule on Friday, beginning with a road game in Buffalo on Sept. 18.
The Penguins will have three games at home: Sept. 22 against Columbus, Sept. 23 against Detroit, and Sept. 26 against Buffalo.

The Penguins also announced that the annual prospect development camp will be held June 27-29. The prospects will compete in a tournament with other teams' prospects in Buffalo from Sept. 6-10. Training camp will begin on Sept. 14.
