He earned his first recall last season and spent 11 days traveling and practicing in Pittsburgh, but didn't get to play after the Penguins' initial injury situation improved before the first game. He seemed poised to earn his first chance this season, but the Penguins reclaiming of Jean Sebastien-Dea was a setback for Blueger.
