The Penguins will face the Islanders in the first-round of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs, and open the series in Uniondale, N.Y.
The NHL announced the full first-round schedule Sunday morning, with Game 1 slated for Wednesday at 7:38 p.m.:

The Islanders' home games in the first round will be held at the Nassau Coliseum. The team has been splitting home games between the Coliseum and Barclays Center in Brooklyn this season.
This is the first time in 31 years that the Islanders have had home-ice advantage, with the last instance coming in the 1988 division semifinals against the Devils.
The Penguins and Islanders have previously met four times in the postseason, most recently in 2013 when the Penguins won in six games. The Islanders had eliminated the Penguins in the first three series, with the most notable being the Penguins' second-round exit in 1993 after David Volek's Game 7 overtime goal.
The regular season series between the Penguins and Islanders this year is tied at 2-1-1. The two teams haven't met since Dec. 10.
