The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins released their 76-game 2019-20 regular-season schedule on Wednesday.
The first puck drop is on Oct. 5 in Hershey. The home opener will be on Oct. 12 against the Utica Comets, the middle game of a three-in-three that also includes trips to Hershey and Lehigh Valley.
Fifty-two of Wilkes-Barre's games will come against Atlantic Division rivals. The remaining 24 games will feature teams from the North and Central divisions.
Wilkes-Barre will play the Hershey Bears and Lehigh Valley Phantoms 12 times each. They'll play the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Providence Bruins, Springfield Thunderbirds and Hartford Wolf Pack six times each and the Charlotte Checkers four times.
The closest Wilkes-Barre will come to Pittsburgh will be a two-game series against the Cleveland Monsters at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (formerly Quicken Loans Arena) on Dec. 14 and 15.
