Evgeni Malkin was a late scratch for the Penguins' game against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena.
Malkin took part in warmups and left the ice and went down the Penguins' tunnel halfway through warmups.
The Penguins announced that Malkin will miss the game due to illness.
