The NBA has put together some guidelines for the individual workouts in its practice facilities that are expected to begin next month, according to Stadium's Shams Charania.

ESPN NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier this week that the NBA will open its practice facilities to its players for voluntary individual workouts in areas with loosened stay-at-home restrictions, with team practices still being prohibited.

Charania reported on Monday that the NBA is aiming to reopen its facilities "no earlier than May 8." Players will only be able to workout in their own team's facility. No more than four players will be permitted in the building at one time, and only one team staff member can be at the facility. Players must wear face masks in the facility except when participating in physical activity and stay at least 12 feet away from each other. Players must also complete a resting ECG and troponin test before working out in the facility.

The NBA also informed its teams that it is "not possible or appropriate in the current public health context" to regularly test all players and staff who are participating in the workouts.
